APPLICATION:

1. Surface Preparation:
   Remove loose rust flakes, dirt, oil, or grease from the metal surface using a wire brush, scraper, or degreaser. For best results, clean the area thoroughly but do not polish down to bare metal — surface rust must remain for the converter to react.

2. Application Method:
   Shake the product well before use. Apply Zollex Rust Converter by one of the following methods:

   • Spraying: Use a spray bottle for large surfaces or hard-to-reach areas.

   • Brushing: For localized application or vertical surfaces, use a nylon or natural-bristle brush.

   • Soaking: For small parts with severe corrosion, fully immerse in the solution for more complete coverage.

3. Reaction Time:

   • Light rust: Allow the product to act for 10–20 minutes.

   • Heavy rust: Leave on for up to 8–12 hours, preferably overnight.
     Maintain a temperature above +18°C and avoid direct sunlight or drafts for optimal chemical performance.

4. Rinsing:
   After treatment, rinse thoroughly with clean water to stop the chemical process and remove residual rust and product. Dry the surface completely to avoid flash rusting.

5. Post-treatment:
   Once dry, the treated surface can be:

   • Left as-is for corrosion protection, or

   • Painted, primed, or coated — Zollex Rust Converter creates a suitable base for most finishes.

Important:
